Una de las cosas que mas me llamó la atención de la última reunión con el director artístico de Lancôme, Aaron De Mey, fué el énfasis en el juego y el darle un multiuso al maquillaje. De Mey insiste en obviar el sentido literal de cada producto, y darle varios usos. Un tip que es perfecto, si pensamos en economizar espacio en el bolso y una tendencia que tiene que ver con un estilo mas natural y menos pensado al momento de maquillarse.

De todos los productos, por supuesto fue BB Kiss, una barra en tono coral y tamaño mini, el que más me fascinó. BB Kiss se puede utilizar de múltiples maneras. En un tono tradicional, como puede ser el coral para un blush, las posibilidades varían según se aplique seco o húmedo. Cuanto mas húmedo, mas brillo y espeso será el efecto. Se puede usar tanto como blush, como barra de labios o incluso, como sombra de ojos. Incluso el packaging (en una delicada cajita) es tentador.

Las nuevas reglas, es que no hay reglas. Se trata de volver a los 9 años, cuando probábamos los maquillajes de nuestras madres y jugábamos horas delante del espejo. Probar nuevas ideas y colores y pasárselo bien.

Of all the products, of course BB Kiss -a mini-sized bar in coral tone- was the one that fascinated me most. BB Kiss can be used in multiple ways. In a traditional tone, such as the coral for a blush, the options grows depending if it is applied dry or wet. The more humid, more luster and thick the effect, when instead applied dry, has a more natural and washed effect. It can be used both as a blush, and lipstick or even as eye shadow. Even the packaging (at a delicate box) is tempting.

The new rules, is that there are no rules. Imaging you at age 9, when we tried the makeup of our mothers and played hours in front of the mirror. Test new ideas and colors and have fun.
